  • 04/19/24 LES Pop Up '24

    Summary

    Thank you for everyone who came out and made this weekend so fun! Our pop up featured BTBz, @butter_wellness, @myperkies, @personalfavco, and @shopcherri. All of these amazing brands share a focus on sexual empowerment and exploration in different ways. We hosted the shop at @harshcollectivenyc from 11am to 6pm all weekend long.

    Saturday was a particularly fun shopping day with a sip and shop from 12-4pm. And Sunday featured a panel from 4 to 5 pm with @iamcatherinedrysdale, @natassiamiller, and @gabyscaringe.

    We discussed important topics surrounding intimacy, health, and relationships. The panel provided a safe space for open and honest conversations, encouraging attendees to ask questions and share their experiences without judgment.

  • 02/13/24 Valentine's Day '24

    Summary

    Does anyone love Valentine's Day more than the BTBz team? At this years event, we hosted both singles and couples. We celebrated Valentine's day, as well as the mini launch of our new card game, The Pleasure is Mine. Our officially launch date is February 28th, 2024. Stay tuned for more details.   • 12/06/23 TO GIVE AND RECIEVE

    Summary

    To give and receive this holiday, we threw a one-night-only pop up with @personalfavco and other lovely partners. Thanks so much to everyone who participated, sipped and shopped on Wednesday.

    Summary

    On March 30th and 31st, Harsh Collective and BTBz presented ‘Unprotected,’ a sex-positive exhibition and discussion featuring artists Chloe Colvard & Kelly Chuning in Brooklyn, NY. We broke down shame, sex, and how to find personal empowerment.

    Summary

    Love was on the menu. On November 17, BTBz hosted a single’s dinner for 20 people at Supper NYC on the Lower East Side. The seating was designed so singles rotated around the room and met everyone. Thanks to everyone for attending and participating in our question games and conversations, and to Supper for hosting.

  • 10/24/22 Sound Bowl Healing

    Summary

    Sound bowl specialist Alexandra (aka @mindfulwildernesshelped us start our week just right with a 45-minute experience to relax the nervous systems and connect inward to the body. Remember, stress is the number-one sex killer, so it’s critical to calm down and tune in if you want to set the mood.

  • 10/20/22 Sensuality Workshop

    Summary

    BTBz presented a night of discussion and choreography with Alice, a professional environment dancer at New York City's iconic, subversive theater The Box. She specializes in setting the mood for the evening, drawing inspiration from her surroundings to set the tone for an event. Ten attendees learned how to use their bodies to convey a sensual mood.

  • 12/08/21 Book Club, Women Don’t Owe Your Pretty

    Summary

    Fifteen participants gathered at a space in the West Village to discuss “Women Don’t Owe You Pretty,” by influencer and author Florence Given. Topics included feminism and how women in particular can how to feel more empowered in their skin.
  • 02/14/22 Valentine’s Day '22

    Summary

    A Valentine’s Day dinner for 16 attendees, which included a white-elephant sex toy gift with the price of admission. The event was held at La Loteria in West Village
  • 03/30/22 Rays Pop-up, BTBz X Perkies

    Summary

    BTBz reserved three tables at Ray’s on the Lower East Side for a sexual wellness pop-up. Key Event Partners included Perkies, an adhesive intimate company; and Skinswear, which sells mindful lingerie handcrafted in France. The event was held in partnership with Ray’s and team member Caroline Leopold.

  • 03/17/22 Nolita Pop-up Store

    Summary

    BTBz and Perkies hosted a weeklong pop-up in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood. The event was staged with the help of Parasol Project, and featured products from  er Place, Ebbs beer, and Figlia. BTBz X Perkie also hosted two sip & shop events throughout the week.

  • 09/08/21 Book Club, Becoming Cliterate

    Summary

    A three-part event series focusing on Becoming Cliterate, the bestselling book by sex therapist Laurie Mintz. Participants engaged in discussions about the orgasm gap, as well as taking pleasure seriously.
  • 10/20/21 Sip & Sketch by artist Dave Cazso

    Summary

    This immersive art experience included custom scents and music. Held in collaboration with artist Cazo, attendees celebrated the physical form, as well as Mexican heritage and artistic influence.

    Summary

    Beyond the Beez and artist Courtney Spitznagel hosted a sip & sketch in Brooklyn that focused on celebrating the artistic beauty of the human body. Drawing supplies and refreshments were provided to 30 attendees, and featured one model and several poses.

  • 02/17/21 Book Club, Attached by Amir Levine

    Summary

    This event was hosted in Manhattan’s Lower East Side and included 20 attendees. We discussed the attachment theories outlined in “Attached,” the book by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller. We explored how learning your style, and/or a partner’s, might help people better understand their current and future decision-making, as well as past relationship experiences.
